Lisa Hull Celebrant

'I certainly couldn't have organised the funeral without your special blend of warmth, sympathy, experience and the ability to put us at ease - I felt that I was in a safe pair of hands. You managed in your Eulogy to find the words that the others hadn't.'

Funeral service at West London Crematorium

It is an enormous privilege to assist in the ritual of a final farewell, and I am here to help guide you through the process as smoothly and calmly as possible.

There are no rules when deciding on the best way to say goodbye to a loved one. My aim is to write and deliver a personal, emotive, and empathetic service which will give some comfort at a time when there is so much sadness. A funeral service is a time for reflection, for acknowledging grief and loss, but it is also an opportunity to celebrate an extraordinary life.

Family members and friends are of course very welcome to contribute on the day if they feel they would like to - together we can make a service that feels right, with or without any religious elements. You can choose to include literature, poetry, any genre of music, or something written by a member of the family or a friend. Whatever enriched the life of the deceased, or influenced their character and life choices will really help to honour the life lived.

"Hard to see the light now, just don't let it go. Things will turn out right now, we can make it so. Someone is on your side, no one is alone"

Stephen Sondheim.

About Me

I live in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire with my husband Martin and my 21 year old twins Arthur and Charlotte. We have a bonkers dog called Martha and a fat cat called Smokey. My rather ancient father also lives with us.

I was educated in Northwood and Elstree, and studied singing at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I spent many happy years working in Musical Theatre, playing roles such as Cosette in ‘Les Miserables’ and Christine in ‘Phantom of the Opera’. I have taught drama, singing, and piano both at home and in schools, and until recently was running my own theatrical agency. It was a real pleasure to nurture young talent and also to represent some of my more mature colleagues from back in the day!

I am a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants.

For Arnold Funeral Services

I didn't really know what I wanted as a funeral service, but I don't think we could have got anything better or more appropriate. I really appreciated your help, guidance and the way you conducted the service for us and Mum.
